You will lead the team of food safety officers carrying out quality assurance work at various client locations. You will be responsible for providing technical guidance to the team, engage with the customers and carry out day to day work management for the projects. You will also be required to scope out the work for new projects and submit proposals to the potential customers. You will be instrumental in implementing FSMS like ISO22000 at the sites, conduct audits and trainings for the various facilities. This is a Pan India role and might require some travel.
Candidates must have a degree in Food Science/Technology/Engineering/Biotech/Microbiology with 7-10 years of work experience in quality assurance and food safety management systems for fresh food. Candidates must be well versed with the schedule 4 hygiene requirements for prepared food, must know HACCP and ISO22000. Must show initiatives and have a vision to be able to lead the team. There should be a willingness to learn and improve and solve problems. Must be fluent in technology, creating dashboards, doing trend analysis and the like. Should have lead a team, managing work plans and providing day to day directions to the team. A FoSTac ToT and conversing knowledge of Kannada and Hindi would be an added advantage.
